Eight Cool Minimalist Wallets That Will Turn Heads

In my mind, Ridge wallets were original trailblazers - the first to popularise a different type of wallet. This wasn't the goofy oversized leather wallets your parents bought you for your birthday. Instead, for the first time you could hold up to twelve cards - in a wallet that's pretty much as slim as twelve cards.

Secrid Card Protector
This is possibly the most minimalist of the options on the list - Secrid wallets look how I imagine a wallet designed by Apple might look. They are almost completely plain, with a nifty patent-protected mechanism that allows you to slide out all of your cards in a simple motion.
The Secrid Card Protector is made from Aluminium, with a two year guarantee - protecting your cards from bending, breaking and unwanted RFID transactions. It holds 6 cards or 4 embossed cards, and is available in a range of colours - including a few striking options like bright red, and some more classic options like black, gray or silver.

Looking for something that's convenient but completely premium? This is the option for you. As expected, Tom Ford know how to make every accessory look elegant - even their wallets
Dutifully crafted in Italy with the same care and attention that is applied to Tom Ford's tailoring, the Soft Grain Leather Cardholder is made from 100% full-grain leather and holds four cards - two of which have a notch for easier access. It features an embossed gold logo, which is a simple, no-nonsense statement. If you're looking for something that's basic, sartorial and classy - look no further.
MontBlanc Meisterstück Card Holder 3CC
Whether it's watches, accessories, pens, or indeed wallets, all of MontBlanc's products have a real sense of craftsmanship. You can tell that they're built to last.

Ekster 18k Gold Cardholder
Ekster have a range of smart, nifty products for when you're on the go, including travel bags, laptop sleeves, key cases, cash clips and powerbanks. Right now though, we're looking at their most premium card-holder.
It's slim - built for quick access, even in tight pockets. It features a reinforced stainless steel button for easy access to up to 6 cards (plus another sixn can be stored in the elastic backplate). And it's also made of 18k gold - which is harder and more durable than any other karats.
This is an undeniably flashy choice, so if that's what you're going for - this is a great option to indulge in.
Belroy Flip Case
Now for a bit of a different design. The Flip Case from Belroy keeps your cards in a secure hardshell, featuring two magnetic trapdoors which are secure yet easy to open. It's hardly tiny, yet still features a quick-access section for two primary cards, plus a bulk storage section for more. There's also a divider in the storage section so you can squeeze some cash in there.
The Flip Case is made with premium, eco-tanned leather which comes in a variety of seductively named colours like Ocean, Bluestone, Everglade and Terracotta. Although it's a bit chunkier than some of the others on this list, if you want to store all your cards "inside" it's a really secure choice.

I really love all Café Leather products. Their driving gloves are absolutely top-notch, and their leather briefcases and duffle bags are super smart. It would be silly not to include their sleek card holders on this list as well.

Gucci - G Marmont Leather Money Clip
Okay - we're going for style again here, rather than strictly practicality. The Gucci G Marmont Leather Money Clip isn't made from the same material as the spaceships, like some of the others in this list. But if your goal is to make a statement, that isn't strictly necessary. What's important is that your wallet looks superb.
This wallet from Gucci is made from black calfskin leather which is heat-stamped to give a boar-skin effect for a pleasing textured appearance. The gold embossed logo and matching money clip are eye-catchingly bold and luxurious, which give the whole piece a touch of class.
